Ok xD

Anyway, CXE/CXZ don't have the Screen Options support yet, but I'd changed the layout of Gamma Studio, unifying everything into a single window.

Posted Image

The tabs 'Advanced', 'Drives', 'MenuBar' and 'Screen' aren't blocked yet (in different types of port, like Cider), but using them won't affect the port at all.

Note: The 'EXEs' tab is empty at the moment, but it will be the way to create 'Custom EXEs'. This new layout will make the 'Custom EXE' creation process more simple and practical.

I forgot to say. Gamma Studio was updated, and is not supporting CXZ and CXEx for a while, but is supporting multiple Custom EXEs, screen options to each one of them and some bugs were repaired.

But wait! There is more. Now Gamma Studio have 3 languages: English, Portuguese and Italian. Spanish and Russian translations are also coming. If someone can help with a new translation, send me a message throw Porting Team.

I'll kick in on the French translations for you. Just give me a list of the words / sentences / paragraphs you need translated and I'll get started on it for you.

Nice app by the way...I've yet to test it out but I'll give it a whirl...so long as it is compatible with 10.6.8.

Don't worry, it is compatible with 10.6.8 (it's my osx version too xD). I will send you the texts throw a Porting Team message. Thank you very much. If you prefer to have your real name in the program credits instead of your Porting Team nick, you can tell me your name with the french translation. Thank you again.

I'm glad it's 10.6.8 compatible but I guess you need a Core 2 Duo or higher....my Core Duo doesn't recognize the app.

How can I recompile it to work in a Core Duo?

You've probably compiled it for 64-bit arch only. Go to your project's build settings and select the following:
Architectures: Universal (32/64 bit Intel)
Build active architecture only: No
Valid Architectures: i386 x86_64

The "Build active architecture only" was the only one wrong xD I've just rebuilded and I will upload the 'new version' right now.

Probably, Gamma Studio next 'target' will be the associated extensions of a Wrapper. For example: a WinRAR port need to support .rar files, and these files need a WinRAR icon and a WinRAR description.

The upcoming new Gamma Studio version will probably have a different layout, which makes easier to understand that everything in the program screen belongs to the EXEs. I will post a screenshot until 11 PM of today  (GMT -3), but it still is gonna wait for a designer approval. There is something that still need to change.

Ah. I must have missed that. I have kept version 1.984 - waiting for you to update again.

I just downloaded the newest version and confirm that works.

Thanks. I know few care now with CX being all but dead in 10.7 and offically dead in 10.8 - but I still do, so I appericate it.

I will try to use (or create) some sort of update notice in Gamma Studio. Maybe I should use Sparkle. I will do some research.

Changing the topic, there is someone which can help with the translation for different languages?

For a few days, that will be a little complicated. My Macbook battery died, and now I need to purchase a new one. Meanwhile, I can't update the program or even open it, since I don't know anyone near me that have a Mac. I'm not sure, but I think Gamma Studio have this minimum requirements:
- Processor: Core Duo (not sure which one, need to check)
- OS: Mac OS X Tiger/Leopard (I'm going to check, but I'm almost sure it' Leopard)

I probably will have my new battery at 10th November.

I'm running it on a MBP 1,1 which was released in early 2006 so I think you'll be good...It's an Intel Core Duo, specs are in the side bar.

Finally, my computer is back! \o/
It's time to update Gamma Studio. I have many plans, like the extensions support and the screen options bind correction. Since Gamma Studio is now my Scientific Initiation in university, I probably will have much more time to update it.
There is someway to create a voting in Porting Team? I want to know if people prefer this kind of design or HUD.

Gamma Studio now can control the file extensions associated to a wrapper. In the future I pretend to extend this. It's working fine with Wineskin wrappers, but I'm without time now to test the others (CXZ, CXEx, Old Wineskin and Old CXZ). Someone can check this and tell me, please?

Ok, I have 2 good news and 1 bad new. The bad new is that I need to upgrade to Mavericks, so Gamma Studio probably will lost support to old systems and hardware. The good new is that I'm planning to release a new Gamma Studio version before my upgrade that will improve the extraction process of icons from EXE and ICO files.

This will be the last Gamma Studio update to old software/hardware. And the 2nd good new is that I will be able to test methods to make ports usable in Mavericks without the need of a terminal command or security deactivation.

With that, Gamma Studio 2.4 have the possibility of been released in the next 8 days. After that, it probably won't support old hardware/software (I will be in the new XCode hands, so I don't know what is waiting for me; if there is any way to keep the support, please, someone tell me).

Almost two months wit our saying anything... it's time to say that the new last Gamma Studio had many updates and bug fixes, and now supports the Mac Driver Option in newest Wineskin Wrappers. Probably, in a near future, I will make it able to allow the Mac Driver selection only if it's using a Wine version which supports it.

Beyond that, the next Gamma Studio updates will have some advanced features, which will turn it into a perfect Port Editor Utility for any kind of Port (Old CXZ, New CXZ, CXEx, Old Wineskin and New Wineskin). I also pretend to include some new things, like preferences, flags in the main EXE, winetricks installation, any many others.
