1. I'm not saying you're using a pirated version (I don't really know) but the pirated version doesn't work in the wrapper.
2. You shouldn't point the wrapper to the revLoader.exe file. You should point it to Anno5.exe

I brought it off steam (the deluxe edition) I have a key for it as well. I just don't know how to set it up with steam or not steam. I really have no idea where to start now.

Game files are not in /Program Files/Anno 2070/ drive_c folder. Wineskin will not run game.

However, Crack RevLoader don't works on wrapper. (as thanoulas said) You need steam to run game. (It's available install via Winetrick or direct download)

I have it installed on windows and mac. I just don't know what to do.

So what do i do next?

1. Put game files in Program Files/Anno 2070/drive_c
2. Run game off Steam on Mac ??

I am seriously a n00b at porting and need step by step guides. I hope i become better as i start to port more.

Steam won't find /drive_c/Program Files/Anno 2070/ to run.

Original location is /drive_c/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Anno 2070/ You can move files to folder. Steam will check/verify installed game automatically before you play it.

That's wrong then. You need to install steam in the wrapper first. Go to Wineskin > Advanced > Tools > Winetricks
Choose steam from the list and install.
Once this is done, launch steam (from the wrapper again), log in, go to your library and install Anno 2070
once that is done again, close steam and point the "Windows EXE" in wineskin to the path reboot wrote (you need to point to the Anno2070.exe file, not the folder)

winetricks refers to the old version of steam, unless you find a way to trick the game, you're kinda hosed

You don't actually need /drive_c/ at the beginning of the command, Remove that and you may be able to get it to run although you may have to install Steam and download it directly to the wrapper. It has to do with the registry keys that get saved to the system.reg file in the resources folder. Check the tutorial section for instructions to install steam.

This link may also help to troubleshoot some issues

There is no reason to run the game from parallels, that would normally be used to simply install the software. It's also a fairly outdated method seeing as how the Wineskin installer works just as good with no need to deal with windows.

Good luck!

Ok, let's take it from the top because I'm lost as to what progress you've made.
You said that you have bought the game off Steam, is that right? If so, you NEED to install Steam first. If the winetricks installation doesn't work, try clicking on "Update Winetricks" first, then running the steam winetrick.

Let's first get you to the point where you have installed steam, and we'll take it from there.

1. I have placed contents of steam folder into drive_c folder
2.  Clicked on wineskin in the wrapper and clicked winetricks and ran the steam app thing it came up with this
Spoiler

Also when i clicked update winetricks it didn't let me update

Sorry about that. The wrapper is outdated. Start with a fresh wrapper, and don't move ANY files inside it.
Download the Wineskin Winery, if you don't already have it. (http://wineskin.urge...?page=Downloads)
Then, in the game's wrapper, go to advanced > Tools > Update wrapper. After it's done, the "wrapper version" should change to 2.5.9 or later.
Then, go to winetricks, update winetricks, then install steam from there. As I said, DO NOT MOVE ANY FILES INSIDE THE WRAPPER.

Anyway, here's a wrapper with the first stage of the steam installation done. Just run it, log in to steam and download Anno 2070. When you're done with this step I'll let you know of the rest.

I guessed so. You need to extract it with 7zx, the unarchiver is poop with 7z files and breaks them.
