I tried to port rollercoaster tycoon 3 platinum with cider but every time I run it the logs say they can't find libmacdrv.dylib in frameworks so i copied it and pasted it from my other cider wrappers, it still said it couldn't find it so i duplicated libmacdrv.dylib and renamed it to macdrv.dll and put it in C://windows/  then it gave me this:

err:module:MODULE_LoadLibraryExA Loading of native DLL C:\windows\macdrv.dll failed, check this file ! (GetLastError 193)
Could not load graphics driver 'macdrv'

wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
err:win:GetDesktopWindow Wine init error: either you're trying to use an invalid native USER.EXE config, or some graphics/GUI libraries or DLLs didn't initialize properly. Aborting.

What do i do?
Please help!!

P.s here's what it said when i used libmacdrv.dll

You cannot just copy the dylib files and rename them.
Cider is a bit hard to start working with, so I suggest trying wineskin first.
Also the different cider versions can be very different and in some cases you need to try several versions before you are successful.
However the Sims Pet Demo 7081 (i think) has pretty decent compatibility.

From what i remember RCT 3 is one of those games that simply doesn't work in cider .
But i don't see why you would want to port the game in cider , when it runs fine in wine with minimal work required .

Just use wineskin , since the game is farily old the performance of the game is almost identical to the pc version .

I would say even no work.

I bought the GOG.com RCT3 Platinum version for $7.99 yesterday.

Installed and ran perfectly without any work needed. Seems to run better than my native OS X version too.

It doesn't seem , it does run better the OSX version because the OSX version was designed for PPC processors , and has problems when running on intel processors :D

Actually, official update 1.2 Rev A added native Intel support.
The problem was the installer was PPC, so if you tried to install after Rosetta was removed, didn't work. (Simple fix was to Show Package Contents and run manually.)

So, my comparison was between Wineskin vs the native OS X version.

How did it fail exactly?

I just recently bought the PC version and it installed and ran perfectly without needing to do a single thing in latest Wineskin.
