Porting Request:
Because im a complete noob at porting but would love to play this game, as im sure many other would.

Game Description:
Fez is a puzzle/platform game developed by independent software developers Polytron Corporation.

It's going to be released on Mac eventually, but who knows how long that will take.

I think it do because someone made unofficial mac native version of Terraria using Mono Mac. I'm not sure.... (it requires dotnetfx40 too.)

Ah, what kind of hard drive? I've been rockin' the Solid State Drives for a while now! Don't think i'll ever go back! haha.
If you give Fez a shot, let me know if its successful or not with Mono! :)

Will do.

And it is just an HDD (Seagate 750 gig 7200RPM) - I would have went with a solid state - however I only replaced it because the HDD died - and was still under warranty. Next drive will be solid state - have had 2 drives die on me in the last while.

Since everything was backed up I lost nothing. Only thing good with about a dieing hard drive is an excuse to do a fresh Mac OS X install ;)

I can't install it without internet connection because WiFi Card dont supports my hackintosh. Darn you, ASUS. I will download full NET installer from MS website.

P.S. My nerd friend gave me GOG.com version.

I don't get game working yet. Debug log said OpenTK graphics error. I tried to replace OpenTK. It made error mono framework dll with sound.

1. I created wrapper with Wine 1.5.27
2. Install Mono (it let XNA installer works. it skipped dotNet3.5.)
3. Install game and required parts from GOG.com
4. Run... Nothing. I got debug log.

The problem is when you launch vcrun install that install some dll , but you musst lunch DOTNET and this install some DLL but remove some dll of the vcrun install :huh:

I don't see game don't requires vcrun.

I did installed game on Windows. Only GOG.com installer did gave dotNET 3.5 SP1 and XNA installer. I played it.

Other news, CrossOver website said it's not works on Mac but it can run perfectly Linux under CrossOver 12.2.0.

You have to install Microsoft XML Core Services (winetricks msxml3) in order to install the XNA library (Which installs .NET 4.0) or to just individually install .NET 4.0.

There is no sound issue for me. I have still graphics issue.

I found debug log from Fez folder.

- I replaced new OpenTK.dll. MonoFramework crashed.
- I turned on Mac Driver. No luck.
