Hey there,
I cannot get Wine Engines to build on my system since my Mavericks Update, I guess MacPorts, Mono and various other stuff I have installed are finally crashing the script altogether. I have fixed already a bunch of issues, but finally gave up, when the configure-script did not find a working FreeType library, although the only existing in my PATH is the one Wineskin ships. Instead of setting up another clean wine-build OSX install, I though I may ask somebody around here for a favor?

I have upload the source code on my dropbox, it is a really simple patch, so I do not think, that it could cause any compile errors:
https://www.dropbox....e-1.7.7AOE2.zip

If somebody could compile that for me, I would really appreciate that.
Thanks in advance,
Drakulix

Here: http://cl.ly/3b2d1r003o1o
Made on SnowLeo with GCC 4.2.1, OSX 10.6 as target.
Gave no errors while compiling.

BTW Drakulix, what happened to the iLoL related apps that you guys were developing?

Thanks!

Which ones do you mean exactly? The launcher was just discontinued somehow, because the old one was broken and the new one, that would have been cross-platform was not yet finished.
The Recorder App was discontinued from myself, when Riot announced their own record feature.
CrossPVP was brought by Riot, although it does not seem they plan to use it themselves.
Anything missing? ;)

I am not really happy how that all went, but Riot was not interested in our work once they released their own mac client, and did their best to shut our services down. We were compensated quite nicely with ChampionShip invites and other stuff and did not want to risk a C&D.

I see, yeah i was wondering about those apps.

Since i got bored of LoL never knew that Riot were implementing those features.

But i continued visiting Boompje site from time to time to see how things were going, thats when i read that iLoL was about to be discontinued, but the iLoL team were planing on releasing some quite nice apps.

After that the staff went into zombie state or something and fans were left with the solely promise that some cool stuff may come in the future.  But never heard anything else about these cool things.

So yeah i was just wondering that. Anw, that explains it; good thing you were at least compensated by Riot ^-^

Hey Drak, great to see you back around...too bad about the apps...I'm sure better things will be your way in no time.

Could anyone reading this thread possibly figure out how to compile CX13.0 Wine source to a useable WS9 engine. I spoke to doh123 about it and I believe she had mentioned an issue with GCC 4.2. Does anyone have any information on ho to work around it?

Seems I can't even download the CX13.0.1/13.0 source o_O.
Found 13.0 src at one parent directory of previous sources! here...

Hey Dank :)
I would really like to have a new CXWine Engine, Cube World still does not run in default Wine. :P
Thing is I have not even a working build system for normal engines right now. If you can provide some logs about your compile errors, I may suggest something or try to write a patch for it.

Btw thanks eridani! The engine did its job perfectly.

I second that ;). Not everything works under 1.7.8 or 1.6.1.

I can't forsee me getting to it before the weekend but I'd really appreciate it. I'll try to build it again and see what kind of errors occur...I wish I had have saved them now!
