I doubt i'd get funding on kickstarter without proof I can do what I'm wanting to... sure I can describe everything out... I guess I could try to put together a campaign and stick it at $500,000 and then cry when it fails 2 months later with $10,000  :-P  If I was some industry veteran, maybe I could get more... but I don't want to be an "industry veteran". Sometimes its good to get new fresh ideas from the outside... I just don't want to put together a package and get funding from a publisher because I don't want games made by committee, i want to make games that the players actually want.  When designing new parts of the game still underdevelopment, I'd want to give details of what is being looked at and get ideas back.  I guess that can be a reward tier in Kickstarter, depending how much you pledge gives you extra control and saying rights in what is made. Instead of having some publisher and game makers who makes games all the time having the say what goes in the game, let those who actually want to pay for the game have the say.

My god... This.is.amazing.

But what I think would work out is if you kind of said that you were involved with the Wineskin project. Many might not know what that is, but if they google it, they will see its amazingness.

How about I go to E3 (when I can) and just start yelling out your game company name and your online alias? :D

^^^ Perfect Strategy.

Keeping it on topic by mentioning e3 ftw.

#71752 What is the point of life?

The purpose of life is to pass along the knowledge and compassion that was handed down to you by your elders. To recognize the faults of the previous generations and to rectify those faults for future generations. In general, to leave this world in a better condition than it was in when you arrived here.

I'm not a religious man at all. I'm highly spiritual and believe that there is a genderless force greater than us out there. I believe that the decisions we make in the run of our lives factor out the heaven or hell component, and we live it daily. When we die we don't travel up or down but our conciousness / soul....you know those 7 ounces the body loses when the vessel shuts down...is returned to the earth's energy and the cycle begins again.

All of this is just my opinion

Jeeze, I'm starting to sound like a hippy, thanks a lot Hrach!

I do believe in God, and I'm also a scientist. I don't think a God and Charles Darwin contradict each other, although many on both sides does.
Also if there is no God, the belief still has a meaning for people and will still be as valid (although I don't think that is the case).

I'm sometimes reluctant to call myself a christian since people very often have used christianity, and other religions as a right to wage war, earn money and suppress people with other beliefs. I do think Jesus exists, as there are more writings about Jesus than Julius Caesar, that live in the same era. I do however believe that the Bible is written by people like us and It's know that it is revised several times by people, sometimes for personal gain. If you look at the crusades, 2nd world war, the Palestine / Israel conflict, JIhaad, etc,  the have all claimed they were guided by a God.

Life is what you make out of it, nor science or God can make the life for you, only you can make your own life valuable.

I'd agree that life is what you make it.  Although many people do not believe in God, and simply don't understand the fascination... millions of people who do aren't crazy.  I myself have ZERO doubt, because I actually know Jesus.  It is not a "well this seems cool, or like a good thing to do" or a "my family did this" type of thing.  Its actually knowing God and having personal proof that all of it is real.  Its the actual point of Christianity, to have a personal relationship with Jesus... to know God.  I won't get into an actual sermon, since thats not really the topic.  We were put here entirely with free will, to do what we want.  God could of course show Himself in all His glory, and prove himself to all doubters, but that would take away our free will... people would follow out of fear, and He wants people to actually love and choose Him...  Being that we have free will to do what we want with our lives, I think He wants us to find our own point to our lives.  Like any father, I'm sure He knows what He wants for you, but He will not force it on you.

Now if you are asking what is the point at there actually being an existence... humans and Earth and animals and such, and not about a personal reason about yourself.. well people can just speculate why God would want to do it all, but God is far beyond our comprehension, so no matter what reasons we may figure out, we can never truly understand most of the "why" questions and God... at least in this lifetime.
